Imagine. In a world that seems to have become ever so increasingly closed off, I would like to remind you all to just, imagine. The song from John Lennon’s same named album, is just as relevant today, as it was back then in 1971. Especially when it comes to ideating campaign concepts, content plays and brand tactics. Travel and dreaming go hand in hand. Dreaming is the first phase of the travel planning cycle, however as we get older we tend to lose the sense of imagination we once had as a child. While we all still aspire, we are overridden with detail and the daily stresses that come along with our high pressure roles, family commitments, social responsibilities and just everyday life in general. We all think too much, lose focus and inspiration very quickly. No one is ever inspired with the black and white. It’s a necessity, however it doesn’t take you to that out of the box place. So, bring a little magic back into your marketing and go off course for a while in your brainstorms. You never know what you’ll produce if you just start imagining again.
